I went to Target tonight and thought of Mom. How we loved going there, even if it was just for one thing. We always walked out with 20 more things than what we supposedly needed. One of our favorite treats to buy was gummy peach rings! Yummy. Mom loved buying her white shirts, too. She had so many of those...probably b/c she was always spilling stuff on them, and she had to keep getting new ones. I miss her more than ever now that things have "calmed" down. It is even more sad now that everyone has gone back to work and their daily routines. I sometimes wish the world would just pause for a moment and let me take a day for her. It seems like the world should stop for her because she was so wonderful and I cannot imagine how life is going on without her. I miss her so much.
